Previous Projects
All creative people are problem solvers, when it comes to the heart of it.
Whether you want to generate interest, sales, donations, buzz, hype.... it's all related.
A creative way to tell the world - that's what we do.
IQRA College, Adelaide
IQRA College is an Islamic provate school. They had great branding and a clear value proposition, but no communication with the market. No talking points with the community. Ahmed Bassal worked with the school to not only create talking points in the community, like their annual scholarship porgram, but to also have a presence at local community events, run community competitions, and use their social media channels for more than just notice-board style announcmements.
MATW Project
Long term client MATW Project gets weekly strategic input into marketing and social media, as well as event management and MC services. Pioneering several new initatives in the charity space including re-occurring subscription donations, and Volunteer engagement leadership.
Working closely with MATW Project also lead to a trip to Togo, Africa in 2019, where more than 5,000 images and vides were captured by Ahmed Bassal that would provide the organisation with usable marketing assets for years to come.
Jobs R Us + Care R Us
Jobs R Us created great, life-changing expereinces for their clients, but you'd never know that by looking at their branding. A complete re-branding project was understaken to make Jobs R Us look as amazing as their work!
The umbrella business operates two brands, each catering to a different type of clientelle. We took the strategic decision to make the brands recognisable as being related from a glance.
Project Quran
Ahmed Bassal was tasked with launching Project Quran to the world. A unique project in the world of Dawa, where people anywhere in the world can request a beautifully gift-wrapped QUran sent right to their home free of charge. The launch was hosted at Onepath Network studio and high profile community leaders and figures were invited for a live "unboxing" of the world class product. We utilised the same opoprutnity to capture reactions of the unboxing and stagger their release on social media for the weeks following the launch. To date, more than 15,000 Project Qurans have been distributed.
Onepath Network
As the General Manager of Onepath Network Studio, my role was split into 3.
1- Lead the existing team, including all planning and coaching
2- Lead the sales arm of the organisation, selling video production packages and advertising on the Onepath Network platform
3- Work with the vreative team on new and impactful content ideas in order to spread the message of Islam and raise awareness of issues impacting the Muslim community.
During this time period, Onepath enjoyed a period of unprecendented financial success, with advertising revenue reaching levels never seen before, allowing the team to grow and the organisation to flourish.
I was also responsible for planning and executing the tour showcasing Onepath's first ever short film in cinemas around Australia - a first for the Australian Muslim community.
